Many of us going to nursing school are not exactly 18 years old anymore. It may feel a little overwhelming, okay ALOT overwhelming, trying to figure out what exactly you need to make it through not only lectures, labs but on top of that Clinical.
The good news is, you’re not alone—I’ve been there too. Here are some of the products that helped me stay organized, keep my sanity, and stay looking cute along the way.
If you can swing it, FIGS scrubs are definitely worth it. They’re incredibly soft and have a great fit—comfortable enough to feel like you’re in pajamas, but still polished enough to look professional and ready to handle your clinical work with confidence. Comes in so many cute colors!
(Just be sure to order whatever color your school requires)
If FIGS aren’t in the budget, I definitely recommend investing in a good pair of Clove shoes. During those 12-hour shifts, my feet were absolutely killing me—these made a huge difference. They come in a variety of cute designs, but be sure to check your program’s dress code, as some schools require all-white or all-black footwear.
A sturdy, spacious bag that can comfortably fit your stethoscope, lecture notes, water bottle (like a Stanley), and anything else you need to get through those long days.
A clipboard that fits right in my scrubs YES PLEASE!
**Bonus it has little cheat sheats with lab values, Vital Signs, and more!
As a nurse we can stay calm during a Level lll Trauma, but if you steal our pen you'll see a full out mental breakdown
Your going to need to stay hydrated, because those long days and sleepless nights are going to feel like full on mental warfare. But I promise you got this! Treat yourself and your body to a new and super cute, SPILL PROOF Stanley
Still use my Littman today worth the investment 100%
